What is the Winnebago Home Builders Association?
The Winnebago Home Builders Association (WHBA) is a not-for-profit trade organization made up of builders, remodelers, and associates representing all aspects of the home building industry in Winnebago County. Chartered in August 1990, and affiliated with the Wisconsin Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders, WHBA provides information, resources, services and education to our members and the general public. WHBA is dedicated to promoting quality affordable housing through industry leadership, good business ethics, and community involvement. WHBA Members — A Diverse Group! WHBA is comprised of both Builder and Associate members who recognize the importance of belonging to an organization that supports and promotes the industry from which they derive their livelihood. The Builder members of WHBA include small, moderate and large volume single and multi-family home builders and remodelers. Several of our members are also light commercial builders or remodelers. Associate members represent a broad spectrum of professionals — subcontractors, wholesale dealers, developers, suppliers, etc. Associate members provide products and services related to the building industry such as flooring, heating, appliances, landscaping, kitchen design, furniture, interior design and many others. Affiliate members are employed by a builder or associate member. They have access to most of the benefits afforded full WHBA members. What does the Association do?
